Steffany Dragon, MS CEMT is a life-long equestrian and horsewoman, with an extensive background and 30+ years of practical and technical experience in equine health care. During her time as a University of Florida Extension Faculty member she also taught hands-on courses that included equine health, pasture management, and forage analysis. As an Independent Equine Nutrition Specialist and Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist, her passion is finding solutions for horses to achieve optimum performance and health while accomplishing the owners' goals. Steffany is honored to have developed nutrition plans for some of the best Olympic equine athletes in Show-Jumping, Dressage, Eventing and Polo while just as fulfilled helping an owner give their retired best friend the healthiest golden years possible in the back yard! As she says, she is “in it for the Outcome, not the Income!” Steffany holds a B.S. and M.S. From the University of Florida and has conducted Equine research at Auburn University and UF. She brings experience from a career in the Animal Health and Veterinary industry having worked also for Henry Schein and MWI Veterinary distribution companies, Nutrena/Progressive Nutrition, and Absorbine (W.F. Young, Inc). Continuing her own 14+ year battle against Chronic, Late stage Lyme disease, she is increasingly interested in effective, yet chemical free and holistic solutions.
