Eggbutt Black Sweet Iron Bit

The flat smooth Eggbutt cheeks help to prevent lip pinch while the black sweet iron mouthpiece encourages salivation. Sweet iron mouthpieces are designed to oxidize, producing a sweet taste which helps many horses accept the bit more readily. Stainless steel is used for the cheeks due to it being durable, easy to clean and resistance to rust. The mouthpiece on this bit is designed to “rust”.
