The Equikind+ Peanut Link Baucher bit minimizes the nutcracker effect and improves stability for horses. The Equikind+ hard rubber coating is ideal for horses that are sensitive to metal. the 14mm diameter mouth works great for low palate horses and allows for swallowing and relaxation. Baucher bits improve stability by “holding” the bit in the mouth more securely while improving the lateral aids, similar to a full cheek.

 Contrary to popular beliefs, baucher bits do not create poll pressure. In fact, they do the opposite and release poll pressure. This is why you can see the bridle cheeks "pop out" away from the face when pressure is applied to the reins.
