Loose Ring Snaffle w/Copper Peanut 18mm

This loose ring snaffle with copper peanut is one of our most popular selling loose ring bits. With it’s forgiving 3-piece mouth and popular copper metal, this bit encourages acceptance and helps to keep the mouth soft. The “peanut” allows for a more gentle break in the horses mouth, helping your horse to relax more with contact and worry less. Copper has long been used as a softer metal that creates saliva in turn helping to keep the horse more “soft”. We also carry this bit in a thinner 14mm option for horses with fleshy tongues or less room in their mouth. Silicone bit guards are available for those wishing to minimize lip-pinch.
